Thank you, 2015

Today's the last day of 2015, page 365 of 365. Can't believe today's the last day of me being 18 years old (though it isn't my official birthday yet, but still). Firstly, I would want to thank God of course, for having me for the past 18 years. Every year has been amazing, though there's definitely some bittersweet moments. In this period I've grown inside and out, hopefully to be a better person. I'm still learning everyday of course, from different people that I encounter. A lot more challenges are coming up my way while I grow up so am I ready to face the challenges? I don't know, but I hope I am.

To sum up what I think I've achieved this year,

1. Traveled twice to overseas without my parents!

Well, this might sound ordinary but it's definitely something I would want to record it down. It's my first time travelling to overseas without my parents. Therefore, I have to handle everything myself without seeking help from them. Also, I'm more than grateful to have the opportunity to travel to overseas, all thanks to my parents. *bows 90 degrees*

One of them will be my trip to Singapore with my besties!

And the second one will be travelling to Korea with my cousin :D

Plus, watching Show Me The Money concert all by myself !

2. Finally getting my driver license!

One thing that I finally accomplish this year, and as someone who considers as "grown up", is definitely getting a driver license. I admit that I don't really drive out often myself, plus I suck in parking HAHA oops :p but still, having a driver license enables me to go anywhere if I have a car :p And yep, I'm happy that I get to do it with my friends :D

3. Passed my theory and practical exam!

AND YAY, one of the biggest achievement this year is I'VE PASSED BOTH MY THEORY AND PRACTICAL EXAM. It still feels so surreal to me because the fact that I've failed my practical exam twice, and I retook the 3rd time this year. Not having high hopes but still practiced reallllyyy hard, so so so glad that all my hard work has paid off :')

And I can finally bid goodbye to theory because I don't have to do all the boring exercises anymore. I still remembered I often cried doing them cuz I feel so freaking stressed out LOL. The exam took me 3 hours and my brain and body was so damn worn out. Anyhow, still feeling really blessed that I finally could say that I've graduated from both grade 8 of theory and practical :'D

So I'm just trying to say that don't give up so easily cuz failure doesn't define you! :D

4. Being a student model for my college

This is quite embarrassed to say but I've been chosen as a student model for my college this year. And it was my first time ever photoshooting in a studio and having such heavy makeup. It was really fun albeit having an indescribable feeling. Seeing my face on some websites and brochures... idk what to feel but weird. HAHA. But still, I'm thankful for getting the opportunity to try out something that i've never done before!

So yeah, this is one of the screenshot I've got from the website!
Doesn't look like me but, oh well :>

5. Hosted an event as a member of Student Council

One thing that I am really proud of myself is that I actually hosted an event for my college, as a member of Student Council. It might seem insignificant for some but it really means a lot to me. Hosting TCSH Got Talent is one of the best and (not really bad) experience I've ever got this year. I always complained about how busy is it being a Student Council member, really, trust me, it's REALLY busy. We need to juggle up our numerous meetings and studies, and sometimes it really stressed me out. But in the end of the day, I got a lot of experiences that a non-SC member might not even encounter. So I'm also quite proud of myself for joining the team.

Also, credits goes out to Vivienne, for being my assistant throughout this journey. If it wasn't her assisting me, I wouldn't have succeed in hosting this event. So, thank you so much Viv!

Through this event, I've learned how to be responsible as a person, solve problems, and how to communicate with the judges, contestants, teachers in charge etc. It had helped me grown to someone that I've never imagined as me, myself. So thank you SC for giving me this opportunity as well.

From auditions, to quarter finals, semi finals and finally finals. Almost took me half a year time to complete this event. And I can finally say, I DID IT :'D

6. First (and might be my last) prom!

So I've attended my college's prom night in the end of November. It was even exciting for me as TCSH Got Talent's final was held in YEB. So amused and also satisfied with all the performances from the finalists! Although the food kinda sucks but still I had a great time with my classmates haha :p

All black for HS3 HAHAHA.

----------------------------------------

Well, so these are some of the events that I think it brought a rather big impact this year to me compared to many other small ones. So thankful that I've made through to the end of this year, let all the bygones be bygones and I'm gonna really look forward to the exciting things in the year 2016! On a side note, I actually have less than half a year for A Levels and I really hope that I can ace my exams *fingers crossed*. AS results is releasing in around 2 weeks time, pray hard that I can attain the results that I've always wanted.

All in all, happy new year to my friends and family!

SM3 graduation + The Good Batch

So last Saturday I went back to CHKL, my secondary school for my senior middle 3 friends' graduation ceremony! Cuz I left my high school when I was form 5 so I didn't get to have a graduation ceremony lol T_T yea but after all I didn't really regretted making the choice, but i regretted big time on choosing a levels lol (TIP: don't choose a levels xx)

Me and 2 of my friends arrived at around 9:30am, unfortunately the VIPs were still giving their long ass speech on stage. So all we could do was to wait, and wait... Cuz the highlight of the graduation ceremony was seeing my friends perform :p I didn't recorded nor took any photos so I'm gonna just skip that part out! But it was really interesting and funny, one of my regrets might be not able to stand on the stage even once during my high school years :/

After it all ended, and that they had officially graduated from high school, we got the opportunity to take some pictures with them! Below are some pictures that i've taken with some of my friends. didn't really took a lot though, :3

------------------------------------------------

After taking pictures, me and few of my friends went to The Good Batch @ Damansara Utama to have brunch! The restaurant gave me a really great vibe and surprisingly (or maybe not) there were a lot of customers hahah and that made me anticipate their food even more! Of course, bunch of instagrammers were there to take pictures of their food hahaha. It was kinda funny though cuz most of the people dining there did the same thing :p

Oh and I forgot to take the pictures of the place so... google and search for it if anyone is interested in trying out :p

Me and Madeline shared the drink on the left, it's called The Good Tea (if I'm not mistaken)

My foooooood! - It's called The Hangover Mess
"Corned beef mixed with pan-fried potatoes and diced capsicums. Topped with 2 sunny side up."
It's quite a large portion for me, but I still managed to finish it, probably I'm hungry af that time lol.

This was pancake + chicken + sunny side up!

It was Jieyin's birthday few days ago but we didn't get to celebrate with her cuz there's AS.
So we kinda bought a piece of cake for her as a simple belated celebration :p

Then, we went to Sangkaya to have dessert.
The ice-cream are all made of coconuts, but I'm not a fan of coconuts so yeah it's not my type :/

Can't wait for the next outing of us again!

Once again, congrats to all of my sm3 friends who finally graduated from high school!
Having the graduation certificate made me jealous af, lol.
And yeah I have half more year of suffering A-Levels, so not ready for that shit.

That's all for today! :D
thanks for reading xx

Finally 18! + dined at Nobu KL

So I just had my 18th birthday on 27th October! It's already the end of October and I still can't believe that time has passed by so fast, lol. 2 more months till 2016, what the heck. I'm freaking 19 soon. Finished 5 out of 6 papers of my AS and there's one more left, Economics paper 1 on 12th of November. God bless me T_T

Anyway, I'm gonna update what had happened on my birthday! :p

So around 1pm noon, Huiqi came to my house, along with Coco and Yejee (which I didn't even expect) and they freaking brought me balloooooons and presents heheheh. thanks bbz <3 We then went out to Publika for lunch but I didn't eat anything cuz I had my breakfast HAHA.

Ok I only got one picture here HAHA

After that, we went to Coffee Societe for dessert!

visual is A+ but taste is B+

After that, we all went home and I took a short nap cuz I'm having dinner with my family. We went to a Japanese restaurant called Nobu KL Restaurant and it's located nearby KLCC, just next to Mandarin Oriental hotel.

It is located at the 57th floor of the building and the location, view and food is awesome!! The price is freaking awesome too -_- Really liked the food there but idk when will I get the chance to go back to eat again HAHA. one year later maybe :p

 Passion fruit with lychee (?)

We ordered salmon as our starter,
purposely don't want it to be raw cuz I can't (don't) eat raw food D:
And it's sooooo good!

this is mushroom (idk the professional name of this lolol)
and it's so damn good i wanna cry
the sauce is heaven ;_;

this was prawn, with really awesome sauce omg i really loved this dish
this is probably one of the best of that night

THIS. FREAKING. FISH. IS. LIFE.
i need to eat this again omg god pls

this was squid and i think it's ok ok, not that good haha

this was beef which was half raw,
ya i still prefer cooked.. probably 99% pls HAHA
nevertheless it was really awesome except i think it was chewy for me

and we also ordered sushis!
california roll, and soft shell crab.

and yep, that's all we've eaten that night.
Quite less (at least I'm not really full), but it's pricey enough T_T
special thanks to daddy for the meal, and mum and sis for celebrating together with me!
love you guys loads, so thankful for everything!

and of course, my friends, and everyone who wished me.
thank you guys so much! (bows 90 degrees)

oh and not to forget, my high school baes celebrated my birthday 2 days later.
we went to The Curve for dinner and a brief chit-chat time.
Had our dinner at Johnny Rockets,
didn't took any pictures but posted videos on my snapchat lol.
Then we went to Dr Cafe for chit-chat session.

Took some pics of course!
