Elva's 16th Birthday party!

It was (finally) Elva's birthday few days ago on Nov 27th!! She has the latest birthday among us besties hehehe. Anyway, she planned a birthday party in her house, we were all invited and I'm really glad to see you guys again after I don't know, half month not seeing each other? Hahaha.

I went to her house the day before her birthday cuz we were watching a movie, Homefront. Click here to read the blog post. Isabel arrived at 9am when we were sleeping =.= Madeline came an hour later, her parents brought us 4 out to have breakfast! We even had afternoon nap in her house hahahahah cuz we were so tired...

Time passed.... more and more people came!

We can't stand our hunger cuz it's been few hours since we ate our breakfast. And everyone knows that Elva's mum has a brilliant cooking skill!!! The curry taste flew from the kitchen to our nose, omg I still can't forget the moment that my stomach is shivering, wanting food hahahah.

Her mum cooked nasi lemak buffet, omg the rice with coconut milk.... *starving*
I'm actually shocked at myself after I finish taking all the food =.= WHY SO MUCH hahahahah,
maybe I was realllyyyyy hungry :P

They also ordered Domino Pizzas, in case we were short in food...

Soon, other babes came!!

Kerwen wearing the sunglasses that we gift it to Elva, hahahaha, she love wearing sunglasses!

After everyone had their dinner, we had a cake session! We went to the cake shop to buy it with Elva hahah, it's.... Mocha plus chocolate and walnut cake (?) something like that...

Happy Birthday Elva, ❤ sweet sixteen  !!

What a geng pose while wishing hahahah!

Officially 16 years old babeh!!!

And of course, not to forget some group photos :))

Taking out the birthday candles,
I still remembered I think it's her aunt? Said "wah, teenagers pattern ah."
HAhahahhahaha! Damn funny when she said it with her tone lolllll.

Okay it's the end of the post! Happy 16th birthday again to my lovely babe Elva Saw! Don't stop chasing your dreams and hope to see you success in the future, shining on the stage :D Friends forever , love ya.

Nuffnang Premiere Screening: Homefront

Thanks to Nuffnang for the premiere screening passes of Homefront!!

It's the first time attending a premiere screening hosted by Nuffnang and ChurpChurp. The reason is it's always late at night, and I have classes everyday. This time I tried winning the tickets cuz it's my friend's birthday on 27th Nov, and fortunately I've won the passes from Nuffnang! Yayyy.

On 26th Nov, I went to Elva's house and her parents brought us to One Utama for dinner, as it's their 24th wedding anniversary!! Quite awkward as I'm not one of their family members, but thanks for the awesome food! :D

Went to claim our passes at around 8:30pm, thought we would have back rows but it's quite front already, hahaha anyway our view is not bad. After claiming our passes, guess who we saw at the cinema hall?!!? It's Dennis Yin!!! I've actually heard of him as he's one of the casts in Jinnyboy TV, and not forgetting to mention, he's a very awesome dancer!!!

Well, what Homefront is actually saying?

The movie is rated PG18, I guess it's because there's quite a lot of foul languages, and of course the scenes have some ferocious moves, a lot of gun shots. The volume in the cinema is quite loud so my ears kinda hurt a lot from the sound hahahaha, anyway it's a good movie!

It consists some family matters inside the movie too, in some parts they're quite touching and inspiring. I shed tears while watching some parts of the movie too!!

A former DEA agent, Phil Broker (Jason Statham) heads to the hills with his daughter to get away from the dangers of the job only to find a small town terrorized by a meth-head gang leader (James Franco) in this action thriller written by Sylvester Stallone and directed by Gary Fleder. Kate Bosworth and Winona Ryder co-star.

My rating for this movie:
7 / 10

If you're considering on which movie to watch in the cinemas, this would suit you if you love movies that are thrilling! :)

Japan trip (Part 1)

Hello! I'm finally here to blog about my Japan trip! :D It wasn't my first time stepping into Japan, last time I went to Hokkaido, but not with my parents but my aunties and uncles! My parents chose Japan for this year's vacation because we haven't been to Japan yet as a whole family. What's great is, my cousins are joining us for this awesome trip too!!

This time we joined Apple's Japan tour, they said Apple has the best service and itinery for Japan tour. Seems the rumor is real!! We stayed in different hotels each day and they are around 4 to 5 stars, and they have excellent services. One thing I need to praise about Japan is that EVERY toilet of theirs are clean and fresh! They don't have water on the floor that makes you feel yucky, and most toilet bowls have heater (for winter time), and their high-tech has brought the toilet bowl to have those buttons where you can spray your butt after you've poo.

This Japan trip lasted for 7 days 5 nights. Total 32 (more or less) people in a bus, first I was quite worried because I haven't join Apple tour before. And next thing is do we have to wait for people??? But my worries are all nothing, I truly enjoyed this trip and although we didn't really talk much with other families but everyone of them are really good!!

On November 17th (Sunday) evening, we went to the airport. Our flight is at 11:50 at night, the flight took about 5 hours plus to Osaka!

 Me and ma cousin, Phoebe!

From Kuala Lumpur to Kansai airport, Osaka.

We reached Osaka in the morning. Cuz it's the Autumn season now, so the sky will get bright really early and the sun will set really early too. As known as, 日长夜短。We met the tour guide after reaching the airport. She was really cute and always has a bright smile!! To my surprise, she is a Malaysian and then moved to Japan and she got married there!

 Osaka's Kansai airport!!

Our first destination was Universal Studios Japan!!! The place is crowded like ........ It sure will be super crowded cuz it's so famous all around the world! For those much more exciting games like roller coaster will need you to queue for like... 1-2 hours, even worst, 3 hours. Only queuing up has took all our time and so we only get to play 3 games! Like dafuq right?! :(

Left to right: My sister, Gillian, Phoebe, me and Jiawen!

They have lots of characters for you to snap photos! Some even worse need to queue up to take photos some more oh my gawd T_T But people still really queue up to take photos with these characters!

Christmas is here soon!!

They said this Spiderman game is fun but we didn't get to play it cuz it's realllyyyyyy crowded T_T

After walking for quite some time, we decided to stop by the Jurassic Park to have a ride! My mum has this obsession with water games lolll. We also love it cuz it's very fun :P Of course, a long queue is a must for this fun game!

Some photos while queuing up to cure boredness!

An amazing shot from my cousin! Yes, this is the one we played at the Jurassic Park! So fun so scared, everything all in one. When the car came down I felt like all of my problems were washed with the water! Lucky me who brought myself a raincoat, I didn't get wet at all! But others got wet hahaha cuz the splash is really huge just like what shown in the picture.

While queuing up, many people were eating some meat. The taste is so good we just can't resist to not try.

It's the Turkey meat!!!! We bought too much and we can't finish them so we threw it away T_T So wasted right.... And they are super expensive lolll, but a nice experience eating the turkey meat!

Another interesting thing is, while we were eating the turkey meat, suddenly some random dinosaur came out from nowhere and many people fenced up and it was walking in a circle. Previously I saw this signboard at somewhere and I thought it was just a design... Turns out it was real O_O!

The dinosaur literally looked like a real one!! Ok we didn't see real dinosaurs before but this is... quite cool! We kept on wondering how did the person inside get inside the body and walk... And my cousin found a zipper on it's butt lolll.

Next, we went to play Back to the Future ride! Not really sure what ride is this but we just went in to queue up and try playing. Turns out it's quite fun!!

Had a short walk around Universal Studios Japan and there's a lot of Japanese students with beautiful school uniforms. Well, Japan is famous with their awesome school uniforms and it's really awesome, still. I don't know why they can go to Universal Studios although it's on a Monday... Maybe they skip school or whatever hahaha.

While walking, we heard music and we realised there was a parade going on!! We stopped by the crowd to watch the performances. Everyone was so professional and it's really nice seeing the parade with many performers and characters dancing around the music! By watching this you could seriously light up your mood!

After that, we continued our last ride that is, Hollywood Dream! They have 2 kinds of roller coasters here. And the queue is like super duper crazy!!! Not gonna joke, when we first came in the queue was like so damn long until need to queue until outside -.- We gave up and went to try other rides, glad we did so lolll.

Of course, there were many shops selling souvenirs. Regretted so much for not buying a single thing from Universal Studios Japan!!! Omg, what was I doing that time?! I surely wasn't in my right mind cuz I'm lack of sleep...maybe

 Cookie monster, Elmo!

We 5 were sitting on a bench, observing people and blowing wind, lollll.

Finally, we had to leave Universal Studios cuz we have time limit for joining tour. Took some photos with the representative universal globe!

Not to forget to mention, they have lots of vending machines in Japan!! You can find it everywhere there in Japan. They have the vending machines randomly on the streets haha, I didn't get to try buying anything with the vending machines though :(

To Harry Potter hardcore fans!! They are currently constructing a new place in Universal Studios Japan, that is The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Saw the signboards that it will be done in the year 2014, people who are Harry Potter hardcore fans don't miss this chance! :P

We had our dinner at Amataro. It's a traditional kind of Japanese food where you can take the food yourself..

Just simply take whatever we like and put it in to cook, they were using plain water so there's no taste if we eat it without dipping the sauces!

After having our dinner, we took a stroll at the Osaka street which is near our restaurant. So many shops but we were too cold to enjoy the shopping T_T

The famous pose in Osaka! They said you have to do the pose and take photos with the person above.

That's all for my first day (well, counted as second day) in Japan. Will blog about the other days in next post and next next post... Bye! :D
