Exams are finally over!

Hello! So sorry for the long hiatus, I just finished my first standardised test which I complained so hard that it was too early to be held haha. Did I mention my classmates are super hardworking? They have that strange strength that can make you study no matter what, cuz it's unbelievably stressful to think that you're the only one who is gonna fail the exam... and people will always be ahead of you... No, just no......

The worst part of having exams is when you receive the exam results lollll. I am so scared that my Maths teacher will scold the hell out of me when he distribute the exam papers... Nooooooouuuuu... This lesson taught me to stay focus in every class lol, apparently I've been day-dreaming in most classes before this standardised test. Sighhh, wake up plzz..

Anyway, exams are finished means I can watch my K-drama again! The recent hit of K-drama, You Who Came From the Stars (来自星星的你). I didn't expect it was THIS good. Last 2 episodes of the drama this week, ughh hopefully it's a happy ending.. Totally can't imagine how will they end the drama. If it's a sad ending, the producers will get scolded by fans all the world. And if it's a happy ending, it's quite weird though, hahhaa.

The Fault in Our Stars

Omg omg, I must blog about this awesome book cuz it's awesome! I'm not quite a person who reads a lot, but then one day I heard about lots of recommendation bout this book and I went to Popular that day and bought it coincidentally. (p/s: I never went to Popular to get that book, it was all coincidence).

The book's meaning is quite deep for me, at least. There were so many good quotes inside I just can't get enough of it. I felt like I haven't fully understand the book, so I'm surely gonna re-read it after exams! It gave me a lot of mixed feelings, loll. You feel like it's really happy in front and at the back it is gonna kill you. I cried reading that book, no joke. Omg, it was incredible. Everyone should read it! 

There was one paragraph where I like it the most from the book, I even took a picture down, I'm gonna share it to you and tumblr. (Ok, maybe there's tons of it in tumblr already hahaha.)

"I'm in love with you,"

Fml, how can he be so sweet?! 

How can John Green invent such romantic words? ffffmllll 

I even bookmarked some really sweet and meaningful ones, such as...

Oh sheet, this is so sweet, and deep. I need to read a few times to understand and get what it mean. Hahaha, maybe it was just me but yeh. This is so goodddddd!!

I cried so much at this one T_T Omg, it was so sweet... "Okay" means another meaning to them. I mean, just not normal "Okay." It's their special "okay". You'll understand if you read the book, and it's meaningful to them. Fuuuuu I can't wait for TFIOS movie already!!! Heard that it'll be screening in Malaysia on September. Omg, 7 months to go.. I am surely watching it already, hahaha.

And anyway, watch the movie's trailer if you haven't! The first time you watch without reading, you'll feel nothing. But after you read the book, YOU'LL FEEL EVERYTHING. omg, i can't express my feelings towards this book.

Get that book if you haven't btw, promise. No regrets!!! 

You'll definitely love it like I do. 

Chor 7 at Hui Qi's

How's Chinese New Year holiday, everyone? It was quite plain and simple for me as it's my first time not going back to hometown due to some reasons :) I think the highlight of my CNY holiday will be on Chor 7! Cuz we had a small party at Hui Qi's house :D

Firstly, I would like to thank this girl who generously accepted this offer haha. I was joking at first and then she asked her mom and agreed. And also people who showed up, thanks for making this happen :D Had a great day indeed!!

How to stop biting your nails?

Hello guys! I'm up for a random post, but I guess it's useful for some people. I have a bad habit myself of biting my own finger nails. I know it is disgusting when people bite infront of you... But for people who don't bite their nails, you won't know the damn feeling lolll.

Anyway, I'm finally confident enough to come up with a post with my new nails! I've actually bitten my finger nails for the past idk, 15 years? (I said 15 cuz I don't know how to bite my nails when I haven't reach 1 year old lolol)

One night, I was playing my handphone using a hand, and my another hand... I'm biting the finger nails (eww right.) Yes, I feel extremely disgusted by my biting nails habit and I feel like killing myself to stop biting my nails. For people who don't know, our hands are the dirtiest part of our entire body. Your both hands touch everything and so it'll be the dirtiest part. Thus, biting your finger nails is extremely unhygienic.

Actually few years ago I did manicure (lol, some people would ask how did I even do manicure my finger nails are like 0.2cm) The manicurist put the fake nails on top of my real nails. It sucked badly!!! She can't even stick it on my nails cuz it's goddamn short. Fml, I'm damn depressed and embarrassed. She said something to me I'll never forget, "Wow, this is the first time I've met nails this short." She told me, you can try to stop biting your nails cuz I've put this fake nails on top. I tried, but I failed :(

These extremely short nails have accompanied me for so many years. Never did people know I envy their long nails that they can do pretty manicure, and showing off their nails without feeling embarrassed. I always wanted myself to stop biting my own nails, it actually tests your patience and determination. It's based on your determination on wanting to stop biting your own nails.

And so, that night while I was playing my phone and biting my nails, I had a sudden urge to search online on how to stop biting my nails. I found this video below and it's extremely useful, to me at least.



I also searched online for information about hygiene, and of course the Internet told me a lot. I decided to break this habit once and for all! 

So, what's the method I've used to stop biting my nails? Just few simple steps.

#1: Take a photo of your short nails! 

This is to show you the results of your before and after nails. 

#2: Apply nail polish on every finger nails.

I applied the transparent nail polish onto my nails 

cuz I don't wanna look disgusting with colored nail polish lolol. 

The video said to put few nails at one time, 

but I don't want myself to bite my nails again so I painted every nails >_> 

Soon, you will feel your nails growing longer and longer.. And there will be a time you will want to rub off the nail polish. And that's the time when you'll feel disgusted cuz your nails are quite yellowish! But it's fine, you can try not coloring your nails and let them breathe for some time. If you continue biting your nails, color them again. Cuz I came through this situation where I rubbed off my nail polish and see if I could stop biting my nails without the nail polish. But I did bite them, so to not waste my hard work, I painted my nails with the nail polish again.

I don't know since when, my nails started growing really long. Unfortunately, the parts growing long is the white ones, I don't know if it's my fingers problem or is it just me. Lolol, but anyhow it looked better than my previous nails! So I'm really happy I've got rid of this bad habit for the rest of my life, hopefully.

It's been 2 months since I've stopped biting my nails, and I am quite satisfied with the result! At least for now, I am confident enough to show my nails haha. And yes, I've painted colored nail polish on my own! Hopefully sooner, I could grow nails as pretty as other girls so I can do manicure with drawings and arts on it :3 Mine is still considered short to draw stuffs on it now lolol.

I've kinda blurred a little of the before photo cuz honestly it disgusts me too. I don't even know how could I freaking live with that nails for so long :(((

 I actually started leaving my 4th finger nails long before lolol, it's so hard to not bite it but for the sake of myself, I actually succeed one. lolol. And I think the most successful finger nails I ever have is the thumb one!! Holy sheet.

And yes, I also left the 4th finger nail long, but it kept on break, fml. -.- 

Say yayyy to my new finger nails for me please? Haha, I actually love myself so much after I've got rid of this bad bad bad habit. For people who ever have this bad habit in biting your finger nails, hope this post could help you to achieve a beautiful nails. And stop the bad habit once for all!!
