page 365 of 365 / 2014

Today's the last day of 2014, and I wanted to blog bout a short summary of my life this year. Be it happy or sad, but I'm really glad and thankful that I've made it to the last day of 2014! #SoBlessed.

We always tend to forget how to appreciate the greatness of life everyday. Especially this year has happened loads of unhappy stuffs such as numerous aviation accidents that breaks our hearts, that fears every nation. I am absolutely thankful to God that me, my family and my friends are safe in this world. But at the same time, I felt really sorry to the victims and families that are affected. God bless everyone!

In this year, I've learned how to appreciate little things in life. Such as having such great parents that are always supportive of me and that truly gives me courage to do things that I'm once afraid of. And of course, not to forget my friends whom I always rely on this year. Honestly, without you guys, my last year of high school would be dull and unexciting. So thank you to all of you who had brighten up my high school life, so blessed and thankful to have you as my friends.

I, too, am thankful for the amazing teachers that gave their all teaching us this year. Their dedication and hard work for us, will truly be remembered in my heart. Especially this year where we were having one of the most important and hardest stage of secondary school year. Thanks for everything, my dear teachers! Although sometimes I really hate you guys for blabbering so much, but deep in my heart, I am still grateful that you guys dedicated your time and hard work for us. So thank you.

I always tell myself, "let bygones be bygones". I've learnt that we should not always lock ourself in one "chamber" but we should broaden our mind and vision cuz there's actually so much more amazing things in life that will make us happy and thankful of. We should not really take too much care of what people think of us. Life is too short to be unhappy! So why care bout people who talk behind our back? "They gon' judge me anyway, so whatever." F8ck what people think, cuz you're extraordinary in your own way. Live your own life, don't live for others.

I am really grateful also that this year I was given some opportunity to do stuffs that I wasn't brave enough to do so last time. People always say, grab that opportunity hard when it comes to you, cuz you'll never know when will the next time be.

Life is like a roller-coaster, it must have some ups and downs too. We can't guarantee that there's always good things that happens forever. At that down point, we should brave ourselves to face the problems but not just running away from them. Sometimes, it might be God's will to send us these obstacles so that we can learn how to face them. By the end of the day, we might get some unforgettable experience from those obstacles too!

So, below are some points that I think they were quite unforgettable for me this year. I might forget some but probably they weren't that important haha!

1. I've traveled to Korea!
YES! I was so happy that I can land my feet on that beautiful country after 4 years. Another wishlist granted, special thanks to my parents who made all of these happen. I still hope I can use my own earned money to travel the world, it would be an absolute success in my life if I could do that!

2. I've passed my theory exam.
After 6 years stucking at the same level, I finally get to take the theory exam and passed it! Although I didn't ace it but I'm still grateful that my hard work has paid off! But I still hope I can pass my piano exam next year lol. God bless me!!

3. Had the first interview in my life
Ok, it might not be the 'first', but it was certainly my first formal interview. I've seen how my confidence grew this year, and I remembered blogging bout my 2014's new year's resolution is to be confident this year. And I'm glad that I've did it! It took me a lot of courage to actually speak up confidently in the interview, and most importantly we had to speak in English lolll.

4. I've dislocated my shoulder (lol)
Haha, I guess this was the most depressed phase in this year. It was the first time (and I certainly don't want it to happen again) dislocating my shoulder and it SUCKS BIG TIME. Ugh, I still remember I had to go to the physiotherapy centre every week to do muscles exercises to strengthen my hand.. I hope I won't dislocate my shoulder again T_T

So, I guess this will be the end of my post. The last post before 2014 ends, and before 2015 starts. Hahaha. I really hope 2015 will be a better and more exciting year compared to 2014! And of course, everyone will be healthy and safe. Since I've left my secondary school, I sincerely hope that me and my friends will still keep in touch. And when I start my college, I can meet new and good friends :3 And I have to do well in my A levels hahaha!

Cheers to the new year to come!
Happy new year, guys! xoxo

#PENANG2.0 : Sungkai Hot Spring, Penang's food

Heyyyy! I'm finally back home from my 13 days of Korea trip. Heheheh, it was totally a blast but I was dead tired! Lolll, will blog bout my Korea trip sooner or later! :3

Day 1: 5th of December 2014

So, the 2nd class trip of mine this year, we went to Penang again. Hahaha, mainly the reason is cuz we have free accommodation in one of our friend's house, so thank you again! This time, we went to Ipoh on the first half day, then during late afternoon we headed to Penang.

Our first destination was Sungkai Hot Spring!

It's a nice place to chill out with family and friends, but remember to use mosquito repellant. lol

 They have go-kart and I wanted to play but I didn't! T_T
Cuz it was kinda pricey so.. iz okay~

We were kinda lucky for the nice weather throughout the day!

My friends went to play in the water but I didn't, cuz I was too lazy to change my clothes haha! So I did my job at taking photos of them :3

After playing in the "cold" water, we went to the real hotspring's "hot" water, lolll.

It was kinda scalding at first but after you've get used to the water's temperature, it was kinda relaxing!! But remember not to soak in the water for too long, cuz you'll get kinda dizzy with the heat :3

After some fun at the hotspring, we headed to a restaurant to fill our hungry af stomach!
The restaurant is called "Kedai Kopi Kwong Hong", and it was recommended by my dad cuz he said he liked the yongtaufu from the restaurant!

The restaurant was crowded with people but thanks God we managed to find a nice table for all of us heh!

After our brunch, we headed to another place to get something to eat again! Hahaha, Penang is basically a food heaven! ;)

We ate fried ice-cream, curry puff and egg tarts!

After that, we went to another coffee shop called "Kedai Kopi Sin Yoon Loong" to drink their famous Penang coffee! Hahaha, wth, i know right, we ate a lot, but that's what the trip for! HAHA.

From what I've remembered, the coffee wasn't that expensive.
And it was tasty tooooo!

Next, we went to eat a famous soya bean at Funny Mountain. I don't actually fancy soya bean cuz the taste was kinda weird for me, I just don't really like. But according to the crowd and artists photos there, I guess it was quite yummy! hahaha.

It was quite a small stall, there is no place to sit down and drink but mostly people stand there and finish their bowl of taufufah or some even park their car beside the road to buy their soya bean!

We then had our dinner at Penang at some random restaurants nearby the beach.

 #typical Malaysian food

lolll, hamsup faces hahaha!

So we ended our first day in Penang like this! Gonna blog bout the next 2 days soon, I wanted to combine them into one whole post but there's too many photos haha! Shall write it in another post! ;) Look forward to the next blog post of my Penang 2.0 trip :)

Post SPM life.

Oh hi!! It's currently 12:50am now and I finally have some time to blog about the recent stuffs that happened haha. Got tons of photos that I wanna share and blog!! Just had a productive week after my SPM. It feels like SPM has ended for a long time but actually it was just like a week, lol! But that week I was super busy everyday, didn't really had time to slack. But I guess it was all good!

December 1st (Monday)

Okay so right now I wanna talk bout the first day of post SPM life. Kerwen, who is the first among us who knows how to drive, drove us from school to Pavilion. :3

So, apparently we went to Pavilion to have lunch and some chit-chat. We've chosen TGIF as our brunch venue.

But first, let us have a selfie with the foooood :3

So un-chio eating face hahahaha

Elva and Isabel's beef with mash potatoes and broccoli

HuiQi and Kerwen's fish and fries

Mine and Madeline's burger with beef and bacon inside, and fries :3

After filling our freaking hungry tummies, we had a special surprise birthday celebration for Elva who's birthday was on November 27th! We actually planned to celebrate Jieyin (her birthday was on Nov 11th but we were having exam) and Elva's birthday together, but too bad she was out with her other friends. So yeah, plan changed and cancelled. Hahaha

Anyway it was just a simple one. The staffs from TGIF gave us a free birthday ice cream cake. We expected to have a bunch of people singing together but wth! They just simply took the cake out and be like, "ah, who's birthday?" We were freaking AWKWARD -.- It was totally unexpected and stupid hahaha.

Group photos :D

Everyone has a bite of the ice-cream.
The good thing is it's really yummy hahaha!

Special thanks to Wincy who we met coincidentally there,
and was willing to take photos and video for us! :D

The birthday video is below !!

After brunch at TGIF, we decided to go drink some coffee and chill while chit-chatting. There was this cafe where they just started their business a few days, so we just decided to try it out! It's called Coffea Coffee and it's located at the highest floor of Pavilion :)

A piece of cake which price is not cheap at all ! :o
I shared it with Huiqi , it was not bad at all :)

They chose their coffee with a simple coffee art

Time for some photossss, of course :3 ~

December 2nd (Tuesday)

So I went to dye my hair (again) at mutiara with Elva! I dyed brown base with some highlights somewhat like golden color hahaha. Lovin' the colors! Too bad I don't have a decent picture of my hair, but I'm gonna blog bout other stuffs sooner or later so my hair color will appear after that :3

At night I went to the premiere screening of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No good, Very Bad day with Elva! Special thanks to Nuffnang for the passes for the movie screening ;) The movie was quite hilarious and honestly it taught me to look to the bright side whenever there's bad things happening.

December 3rd (Wednesday)

I spent my whole day listening to the bored af undang lesson at Sri Sinar -_- When I thought it will be better when I listen it with my friends... Actually it doesn't ;( But it's better than listening it alone right? lolol.

Meitu xiuxiu effect to the max. lolol.
Anyway meet Peixing!
we're friends since in primary school and,
it was so sudden that we actually wanted to listen to undang together lolol.

December 4th (Thursday)

This day was probably the most unforgettable one for me. It was my first interview session ever in my life! So apparently I got an interview with Taylor's college for the Principal awards, aka scholarship. I'm honoured and lucky to get the interview, though idk how much will I get for the scholarship.

But anyway, I would say it was a splendid and enjoyable experience for me. I was quite nervous at first but thank God I didn't hesitate a lot during the interview. My interviewer was TCSH's principal, and she was so nice and friendly!

At first I thought it was an one-to-one interview, but it wasn't! It was kind of like a group interview with our group mates where they randomly put us into. They actually wanted to test our abilities in manage to cooperate, communicate and collaborate with other people. Which I think it's really awesome lol!

In whole, I really hope to get the scholarship so I'm gonna wait patiently for the e-mail to come. Hahaha, hopefully it doesn't make me wait for too long :p

So these are my group mates!
Btw it was the first time seeing myself wearing formal clothes haha.

And I've instantly made a new friend ! :)
Hope to see her again in the nearest future heheh.

Okay, sorry for the kinda long post but I wanna sum all my recent activities together in one post lol. The so-called post SPM life :3 In 6 days time I'm gonna leave Malaysia to Korea!! Another wishlist granted this year hehehe. I have loads of stuffs to plan, so these few days is gonna be really busy for me as well ;3 Hope to blog bout a part of my Penang trip with my classmates before leaving to Korea though. Let's see how hahaha.

It's 1:55am now, so goodnight! :D
See you at my next blog post :)
