JinXuanC.blogspot.com: Day 1 - Penang trip w/ 5AREN

Hi!!! I just got back from Penang few days ago with my classmates! I think we quite ON sia, after exam within a week gaodim everything and we seriously went to Penang wtff. In total we have 19 people, using 2 vans! Went Penang for 3 days and 2 nights, totally not enough lor okay T_T Although there weren't much thing to do in Penang already, but it's better than staying alone at house right lolol.

Okay, to the main point.

I'm gonna blog about our first day in Penang first!!

Early in the morning, all of us gathered at school at around 6am. The both vans arrived half an hour later. We boarded the vans and off we go!!

After 4 hours of drive, we finally arrived Penang! But first, we had to sit on a "boat" (idk what to call it, where the cars drive onto it and we go to another place). And sooooo, selfie time lor :D

Then, we headed straight to our living place. Special thanks to Zhanglin's parents who kindly let us all stayed at their condo at Batu Ferringhi, Penang. Honestly it helped us a lot cuz we don't have to find hotels to stay cuz it'll surely be even more pricey..

So, all 19 of us squeezed into his condo and that feeling is... indescribable. Hahhaa, it was my first time squeezing a living room with so many people man!!! Bet you didn't even tried before :P

But there's one sentence that says, "Good things never come easy." Yeh, guess what? The guys had to battle with the cockroaches in the condo before we could stay in there. It was totally, idk man, a good experience? hahahaha! So to remember you guys' did all the hard works, I took some photos lah...

Strong or not?!

After battling with the cockroaches, we headed out to fill our damn hungry tummy!!! Went to Joo Hooi Cafe and had their Penang famous food, such as Char Kuay Teow, Laksa, Chendul, etc etc... And they have this funny rule in those cafes. Anyone who didn't order drinks have to pay RM0.40 for idk why. So do you choose to pay or to order a drink? Dilemma, right.

The place is quite small, really. Furthermore, it was soooo crowded! But fortunately we got us some places to sit. Ordered a bowl of laksa, and char kuay teow.

But honestly speaking, their char kuay teow is not that yummy and it's quite expensive too, lolll. Other places we went have even more yummier CKT.

After filling our tummy, we went out the cafe and got ourselves bowls of chendul. The chendul shop was just beside the cafe, it's soooo yummy!! I suppose there were quite amount of stars who came here and tried their chendul ;)

Before leaving, we had another group photo opposite of the cafe. Failed me who didn't really know how to adjust the brightness so we could capture the cafe together as a background lolol. But nevermind lah, can see our faces mah...

Our next destination!! Penang's Street Art @ Armenian Street. They actually have a map for you to find the street arts, but some of us didn't really get to see much of them cuz we kinda wasted some time in drawing Henna on our hands... Mostly people would rent a bicycle to ride over the street arts cuz it'll be even more faster than walking with your both legs.

Look at the amount of girls who wanted to draw Henna, hahaha.

We went to rent bicycles immediately after we did hennas. Idk what made me wanna rent a damn 2 person bicycle wtf D: It's not what you watch in movies, so damn romantic, sweet and.... NOOO!! It needs coordination between the 2 person, and apparently me and Kerwen don't have lah hahah! But after that we managed to cycle properly :P But next time I would never ever choose a 2 person bicycle againnnn.

We 4 are in the same class in primary school,

and I guess it's a reallyyy little chance for us to be in the same class when we're in form 5 right? :P

After returning the bicycles, we headed to our next destination! At first we wanted to have our high-tea session at 55 cafe, but we freaking can't find the place lolll cuz it has shifted place!!! urghh, but fortunately we came across this cafe named: Favourite cafe. The ambiance is really nice and comfortable too! ;)

While waiting for the time to pass, we played truth or dare among the girls. Some of them had a dare to hug the guys from the next table lolll :P

Our schedule did not end here!!! It was our high-tea only okkk, we went to 汕头街 (Kimberly Street) to have our dinner. We wanted to have our dinner at a restaurant but unfortunately it wasn't opened that night D; So yehh we just went to the cafes to eat again...

Ended our dinner and we went to the beach! At first we wanted to put the KongMing lantern but at night's tide was quite high so we canceled our plan... But nevertheless, we still took photos by the beach!
